Hello all! My name is Chris (Christos) and I  come from a beautiful place called Molaoi, which is located at the Southeastern part of the Peloponnese peninsula in Greece. For the last couple of years I have been living and working in The Netherlands, but my heart brings me many times back to Greece and I always find reasons to travel there more times. I am father of two amazing boys and I am striving every day to be their hero and the good example for them, teaching them the values that my parents taught me. 

 My family back in Greece owns a piece of land with an olive grove in it. The legend wants the land passing on from generation to generation, until it got inherited to my father. In this land there used to be also our farm with goats, chickens, rabbits and other animals. The family's income was coming partially from the farm and partially from the olive oil. 

Many times since I moved to The Netherlands I tried to find a way to sell our olive oil directly to the consumers instead of giving it to the big corporations that are still buying the Greek oil and sell it as either Spanish or Italian.  For the last five years I have been giving small quantities of my olive oil to friends here in The Netherlands as gift and the response that I a have been getting from all of them is more than encouraging! Everybody is asking me why I don't bottle my oil and sell it here! This is why I decided to try a project which I gave the name "ExtraVOO", which stands for Extra Virgin Olive Oil. 

The project goal is to build a high quality product! Achieving that goal requires continuous effort in several areas, like the condition of the farm, the selection of the right mill, the storage of the harvested olives etc! Follow me in this adventure and witness the magic that a small piece of land can offer!
